In the first two project phases, the definition of methodology, procedures and necessary software tools for conducting the European bidding zones review was done.
Within this, third (operational) phase, simulations and analysis are performed in order to examine and quantify the market and network effects of several Germany and Austria bidding zone configurations, for two perspective years – 2020 and 2025.
