The main goal of this study is to perform additional analyses for already completed study on selection of electromechanical parameters of generation units No. 1 and 2 (2×230MW) in TPP Nikola Tesla A. Within this study, for each analyzed impedance of step up transformer, following electromechanical parameters have been selected:

  • optimal range of permanently allowed generator voltage in case of non-regulating step up transformer of ratio 15,75/235kV;
  • optimal ratio of non-regulating step up transformer and minimal permanently allowed generator voltage in case when maximal permanently allowed generator voltage was +5% of nominal value;
  • optimal ratio of non-regulating step up transformer and minimal symmetrical range of permanently allowed generator voltage.

The selection of the optimal parameters have been made in accordance of national Grid Code.

Type of services provided:

  • Voltage-reactive capability
