The goal of the project is the analysis of the development of production, consumption, surplus/deficit and transmission capabilities of Goergia and Turkey, with an overview of other countries in the region (south Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia), as well as the analysis of export potentials from Georgia to Turkey, in period 2020-2035.

The project includes the analsis of various scenarios of development of generation facilities, load forecasts, transmission development plans with load flow and transmission capacity calculations (PSS/E, TNA), and modelling and the analysis of the generation pattern and electricity markets (GTmax).
