Implementation of Compliance Test Protocol should provide both secure production of a new power generating facilities and safety of the BIH power system. Objective of the Compliance Test Protocol is specification of test procedures for commissioning new power generating facilities and their compliance to grid connection requirements of BIH grid code before it is connected to network.

Compliance Test Protocol for connecting new power generating facility has to examine if all criteria from the relevant Bosnian and European regulations are fulfilled. Main objective of the Compliance Test Protocol is to specify all tests and pass criteria in order to examine if new power generating facility comply with the BIH grid code.

Compliance test protocol comprises following tests and pass criteria for synchronous machines and power park modules (depending on application):

  • Active power control

  • Power System Stabilizer
  • Black start
  • Islanding
  • Fault ride through
  • Quality
