Study on connection of the new HPP Dabar (3×58,8 MW) into electric power system of B&H, which can provide secure evacuation of power and energy produced in this HPP. Detailed analysis of possible critical situation has been performed based on analysis of static and dynamic states. Target year for these analyses is 2016 and considered regimes are peak load and minimum load regime. Following design studies have been provided:

  • Selection of proper ranges for electromechanical parameters of hydro units as well as for step-up transformers;
  • Load flow studies including contingency analysis;
  • Fault calculations;
  • Static stability studies;
  • Transient stability studies including CCT calculation.

The main objective of the study is to propose how connection should be realized as well as to propose range of electromechanical parameters of hydro units as well of corresponding step-up transformers, which can provide secure evacuation of power and energy produced in this HPP.

Type of services provided:

  • Selection of proper ranges for electromechanical parameters of hydro units as well as for step-up transformers;
  • Load flow studies
  • Contingency analysis;
  • Fault calculations;
  • Static stability studies;
  • Transient stability studies
  • CCT calculation.
