With overall goal to increase the quality of services and increase reliability and security of supply in power grid of Armenia, statistical analyses of data for outages in transmission elements and Electric Power not Served is performed. Overall goal was to develop methodology for reliability assessment, as well as select reliability indices most suitable for power system of Armenia for future reliability analyses. These analyses had as a goal to identify weak points of transmission network and to give recommendations how to increase overall level of reliability according to the practice in other countries.
