The scope of project is detailed analysis of existing and planned state of transmission and distribution network, existing development plans of city of Niksic, and to make a plan for transmission and distribution network development of 110 kV, 35 kV and 10 kV voltage levels. Long-term development plans should enable continuous demographic, industrial and economic development in areas of the municipality Niksic.

The study covers the period by year 2025, the promising network is analyzed and elaborated in five-year stages 2015-2020-2025, a detailed development plan for the next five years (2010-2014), and a vision of further development of the network by 2025.

Development planning of transmission and distribution power system in areas of the municipality of Niksic is connected with a series of difficulties, the presumed development load, analysis of the possible state of the network and its forms of exploitation, which should provide:

  • the needs of end consumers are regularly, reliably and securely covered
  • delivered electricity should meet the quality requirements which are increasing every day
  • that the total price of the distributed electricity is minimized.

Such a task can be solved in multiple ways, with constant present dilemma, that if the future development is exactly anticipated. However, instead of questioning is the future accurately perceived, should strive to have it builds in accordance with the present predictions.
