This study consists of technical and economical analysis of influence of analyzed new tie-line Serbia – Romanian border. Four different connections have been analyzed: Resita – Pancevo, Resita – Novi Sad, Sacalaz – Pancevo and Sacalaz - Novi Sad and analyzed regimes were summer and winter in 2015 and 2020.

In this study load-flow analysis, security assessment, TTC calculations and cost-benefit analysis have been performed.

TTC calculations have been performed for four different directions of interchange (from Romania to Serbia and vice versa and from eastern to western part of region and vice versa).

According to analysis performed in this study, the main conclusion of the study was proposal of the best connection.
