Western Balkans Infrastructure Projects Facility (IPF) is a project that has been established with the aim of increasing the number of projects in the region that can be put forward to financial institutions for funding, and therefore to implementation. The project helps countries develop projects and programs that will further economic development in those countries, and then tries to match those developed projects with financiers.

In this case realization of projects in Montenegro are analyzed in following fields:

  • Distribution System development
  • Metering System
  • Relay Protection System

IPF is an EU-funded project and is expected to continue operating until 2012, with main objective to support the development and upgrading of infrastructure, to help create the conditions for sustainable economic development in the region.
