Within this project the SEE TSOs are consulted about the principles of Market Coupling as applied and planned across Europe. The principles of NTC-based and Flow-based Market Coupling are investigated.
The web-based software platform for the simulation of NTC-based and flow-based Market Coupling principles is developed and exercised jointly with the SEE TSOs and electricity market stakeholders.
Different roles are implemented at the Market Coupling simulator: TSOs (defining NTC or PTDF/MF values), traders (bidding), NEMOs, administrators.
