Power quality measurements for Montenegro - Italy HVDC converter station were performed in order to evaluate its compliance with the criteria defined by the Grid Code of Montenegro. Power quality measurements assumed measurements of total harmonic distortion (THD), individual higher harmonics (HD) as well as short-term (Pst) and long-term (Plt) flicker emissions in the converter station connection point with the rest of the transmission system. By adequate analysis of measured data a comparison has been made between the measured values and the maximum allowed values defined by the Grid Code.

Type of services provided:

  • Analysis of measured power quality indicators:
    • Total harmonic distortion (THD)
    • Individual harmonic distortion (HD)
    • Short-term flicker emission (Pst)
    • Long-term flicker emission (Plt)
