SEE Electricity Market Perspectives until 2030: Assessing the Impact of Regional Connections to Italy

This project is the first phase of larger project; within this first phase following tasks should be performed:

  • Creation of database for market analysis (each TSO should send its relevant data, based on adopted questionnaire, and regional marked model should be created and verified, with clarification of missing input data and using alternate data)
  • Development of methodology for market studies (the methodology should be proposed and adopted, together with decision on market software which should be used within this study)
  • Development of network market models for target years 2025 and 2030 (national network models should be collected from SEE TSOs and regional models should be created).

In the developed models, power systems of member TSOs should be modeled on plant-by-plant basis, while other power systems in area of SEE should be modeled per technology clusters.

In next phase market-based analyses should be performed.
