Scope of the studies for construction of new Nuclear Power Plant Barakah (4x1500 MW) is to analyse and propose remedial actions of small signal stability and influence of inter-area oscillations, taking into consideration that GCCIA (Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE and Qatar) system faces a problem of inter-area oscillation phenomena. Power plant will be commissioned in phased stages, one unit every year by 2020.
