The aim of this project was to support CORESO in the process of implementing the PFC function, which decomposes total power flows into its components, for establishing the basis of an effective mechanism for the compensation of redispatching costs in the CORE region.

Project activities included:

  • in-depth client training on the PFC methodology, its development and application for the purpose of RD&CT, demonstration of other basic functionalities in the TNA software tool, as well as data builders for creating PFC-related input files,
  • gradual demonstration exercise from the PFC function in TNA on prepared scenarios delivered to the client prior to the training,
  • the comparison of different decomposition methodologies,
  • preparation of detailed Business manual,
  • the provision of customer support software services throughout the project.

Type of services provided:

  • PFC training related to the methodology, its usage for the purpose of RD&CT processes, and PFC function in the TNA software tool
  • Delivery of the TNA software tool with the PFC function
  • Delivery of the detailed Business manual
  • Customer support software services
